How is the faculty of LPU?

To my experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. BBA or MBA is something that is completely relatable to your surroundings, it's a management thing. If you say marketing is a specialisation in MBA then marketing is all around us. And how you are able to relate the content in books and the content around you is a task.

LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching are really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. BBA or MBA is something that is completely relatable to your surroundings, it's a management thing. If you say marketing is a specialisation in MBA then marketing is all around us. And how you are able to relate the content in books and the content around you is a task. To get this level of thinking, you need to broaden your thoughts, you need to be a part of brainstorming activities and you have to start learning from your surroundings. And this is where the role of faculty members or environment or university is help upon. As per my personal experience, I am able to observe such a level of thinking in a Management guy from Lovely Professional University. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED.

, LPU faculty members are well trained and are experts. They are just not faculty members but mentors to students. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims, NIIT's some are Ph.D. as well. It is the university where faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of the international level. Learned faculty to work hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. The faculty of LPU, updated with the latest methods of pedagogy (teaching) help turn students into a finished product with high market demand, yet with a social conscience and urge to contribute and give back. LPU as in the present scenario this is the university that caters to the all-around development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. LPU faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. LPU have recruited faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT.

I would like to share that the faculty members at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers. LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculty members are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculty members. This would also lead to the better understanding between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculty members, so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them.

Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details of the faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also ACT as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck with. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambiance of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies based on its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, and its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best to make you understand things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, the University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development programs so that they can update the faculty members on the industry and the latest needs. As far as the curriculum is concerned, the syllabus gets updated by industry experts so that the demands of the industry are MET once students pass out from the university. The faculty of LPU are trained professionals or hard core academicians with scholastic achievements. Most of the faculty at LPU are Ph.D. The student teacher ratio is less hence the teacher is more approachable to the students. In addition to it, the university has a beautiful tradition of allotting mentors to the students. The teachers act as mentors to a group of students for their personal and academic problems. The faculty address the problems of the students in each and every possible way. They are inspiring and approachable. The faculty hiring at LPU is done as per UGC norms. The recruitment process is tedious and helps scrutinise the teacher. They have degrees and are skilled at delivering what they stand for. There is a continuous monitoring of the performance of the faculty by the management as well. If a student finds a teacher unduly harsh or not good at delivering lectures, he can even complain to the management and the teacher is given a notice. The teacher can be even replaced. The programmes with industry collaborations have industry experts as teachers. The university invites guest lecturers for different programmes from time to time to widen the horizons of the students.

However, one come acrosses such incidents not very often.
