How is the faculty of LPU?

Well, I must say that the faculty members of LPU are very cooperative and goes an extra mile to help their queries. The salient highlights of the faculty members are:- There are around 2000 faculty members in the university. They have experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. The university has recruited faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 73 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level.

Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University's Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. LPU has 4000 plus dedicated faculty members with research orientation. Most of faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM, IHM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty is really helping. Even they helps after regular university hours for projects. Somethings that as a student of LPU I personally experienced was the faculty fraternity of LPU are friendly and always opened to extend a keen ear. They are supportive and appreciates efforts taken in direction of experiential learning. It is because of them every year LPU marks a new benchmark in every field, it be in education or sports or career.

To enhance the quality of education, faculty members are provided with facilities like academic extension leaves for perusing doctoral/research studies, attending development/training programs outside the university, and on-campus training programs are arranged with academic and industry experts from within and outside the university on a periodical basis. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims, NIIT's some are Ph.D. as well. LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculty members are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculty members. This would also lead to the better understanding between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculty members, so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them.
