How is the placement scenario at LPU for ECE?

Being an educational consultant, I keep on checking the placements of all the universities to help students to choose a better university. I have checked the placements data of LPU also, it is really amazing and appreciable that during pandemic also, they managed their placement. Let me share the placement details of LPU that help you better about your question. Comparing other University with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Every student dreams to get placed in renowned companies from college/University itself. Being an alumni of LPU I would say LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Placement opportunities at LPU are pretty good, be it for any branch of engineering. Students from all the branches of B.Tech get to sit for the same placement interviews conducted on the campus. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering:Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning)Quantitative Aptitude Skills. Throughout the year, where industry /academia experts share their wisdom to enhance students learning. Now, coming to the statistics, over 550 companies visited Lovely Professional University last year, out of which more than 40 were dream companies offering above 5 LPA of packages. Hi there, I am also a student at LPU and I also admire electronic and electrical engineering as it forms the backbone of computer Science engineering. Electronics and Electrical Engineering Discipline is one of the best Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering colleges in Punjab and India. Modern labs and high-tech infrastructure stimulate creative thinking, produce scholars and researchers that create revolutionary technologies that can change the world. I found out some placement records of LPU that might help you out in making a decision. Some students like Anirudh Jupudi and Harsha Renu Pandu are Selected in Synopsys and Currently Working at Package of 11.25 LPA. Meghna Tripathi is Working in Xilinx at a Package of more than 5 LPA. Surishetty Gopi K S Prashanth, Batch 2017 got Placed in "VOLTAS INTERNATIONAL IOBG with a Package of 11 LPA. Students of B.Tech 3rd year got placed in German-based Semiconductor company Infineon which has Revenue in fiscal year 2017: 7,063 million with approximate 37,500 employees worldwide. The maximum placement package availed at LPU 15 LPA by Trident Group. I will highlight some of the features : 1) The faculty, the infrastructure, and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100%, and the preparation begins from the very first year. The highest package offered for the academic year 20202021 was 31LPA by Code Nation. 3) More than twelve Centers of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 4) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress was held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. Prabin Kumar Das, a B.Tech student (Electronics Communication and Engineering) at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, and his professors, has developed a KAWACH to promote safe social distancing. 5) Last but not least, LPU has its space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on a satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all-round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. LPU has made a name for itself in the last few years. This is one of the major reasons for it to have decent placements. The college has earned its credibility in the past years. Ltd. Rockman Industries, Godrej Consumer Products etc. Many of the LPU students have been successful in cracking placement opportunities with core engineering profiles from the industry giants mentioned above. LPU offers Professional Enhancement Programme so that students attain skills necessary for the job in the relevant field. At the same time, the varsity conducts mock placement drives to build self-confidence in students.
