How is the residential facility at LPU?

LPU's hostels are well-managed and provide one of the safest living environments for students. LPU has a zero tolerance policy for ragging and other illegal acts, with over 4000 CCTV cameras and over 400 security personnel. At my opinion, one should stay in an LPU hostel because those hostels are well-maintained. There are numerous advantages to staying in a hostel. LPU also has Turnstile gates at main entry/exit locations, as well as vehicle boom barriers, to ensure that all movements are tracked. As a result, you won't be able to take anything unneeded from your hostels. Hope it helps!

LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. There is a round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There are 24 hr. Electricity backup Water Supply, and services available. There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, salon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall, and Tuck Shops. From ala care to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea are served at breakfast. At lunch, Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati, and Raita are served. In dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts are served. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline.

LPU hostel is amazing. The separate hostels for boys and girls and canteens and mess that are separate for both. The campus area around the hostel is pretty homely and the rooms too are comfortable. The apartment-style area for living with a shared lounge and bathroom makes it easy for students to live in. Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Medical Facility: University has 30 bedded hospital within the campus and 24 hours medical and Ambulance services are available. Hospital is staffed with Resident Medical Offi cers, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Medical Lab. Technologists, Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists and Psychologists. Banks and ATM Facility : At Campus, we have branches of 5 nationalized banks. In addition, there are 55+ ATMs of different banks within the university campus. Library and Lab facility: Students residing in University campus can avail the Library facility till late hours, presently from 8.00 am till midnight. Labs and workshop facilities are also available till late hours for practicing. Internet connectivity: Being a tech savvy University, students generally accomplish their work through internet. Internet connectivity for scheduled timings through Wi-Fi system for academic purposes is available at campus through leased line of 650 Mbps. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Turnstile Gates: The entry to residential facilities are regulated through automated turnstile (as in metro railway) and biometric machines and data is saved in computerized data base to track the movement of students/ visitor. Mess in the residential facility provides good quality, hygienic, nutritious mess and multi cuisine menu served four times a day. Constant vigil over vendors is the prime reason for good quality mess plan at residential accommodation. There is an automatic chapatti making machine in every residential accommodation which is hygienic and time saving. Students also have the option of having their mess occasionally or for nonmess opting students at cafeteria provided within residential premises and at various strategic locations within the campus. Medical Facility: University has 30 bedded hospital within the campus and 24 hours medical and Ambulance services are available. Hospital is staffed with Resident Medical Offi cers, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Medical Lab. Technologists, Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists and Psychologists.

There is attached wash room, air conditioner, and geyser is there in each room. Permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load up-to 5 ampere per apartment. In-campus Hospital facility is there with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the respective students and so on.

Residential facility: a) Residential facility is permitted on annual basis for students admitted for regular programmes for the duration of regular academic session. (b) All rights of permission to avail the Residential facility are reserved with the University and can be denied to any student. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right. (c) Residential facility will be offered on First Come First Serve basis, with the provision for reservation for special category of student (s) such as those admitted for residential or specific programme or admitted in Hons. Programme or from the distant places or on the basis of academic/ sports/ cultural/ co-curricular or other performances or as decided otherwise by the University. (d ) The location of the Residential facility, floor and room pattern are subject to change from time to time. (e) Residential facility will be provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams or 10 months from the start of session, whichever is earlier. Students can come and join two days prior to start of academic session and will be required to vacate Residential room/ apartment within two days after regular exams. For availing Residential facility after the end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/ reappear examination/ make up examination/ PEP/ EEP classes etc. , additional proportionate residential charges (residence) will have to be paid by the student, subject to the availability and permission of Residential facility. (f) Customized plan (e. g. for full calender year) may be provided on request. (g) Residential Charges (Residence) as mentioned below is for the academic session 2022-2023 and is subject to change for successive sessions. (h) Unless otherwise specified, Residential facility (s) once chosen like Air Conditioned facility etc. Will not be changed during the academic session. (I) Residential Charges (Residence) includes the fee for accommodation (boarding and lodging), geyser, cooler or AC (as opted), and electricity (free units as mentioned below), generator and maintenance cost for light load. (j) Electricity used in excess of light load permissible by the university will be charged on actual basis. According to their requirements and interests, students can pick from a choice of accommodations ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments. The hostels at LPU are separated into two types: 1. Standard Rooms: At LPU hostels, standard rooms are lodge-style setups in which students can live in a common 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of air conditioning or air-conditioned ventilation. The following amenities are available to students in these rooms. A B.Ed a plastic chair, a study table, an almirah, a geyser, and an air conditioner/air cooler are among the items in the room (As Applicable) 2. Flats: LPU has 1,2,3,4 room apartments with connecting washrooms. Some accommodations have been constructed to give opulent lodging. The unit has a communal kitchen, dining area, and lobby. A wooden box, a B.Ed a plastic chair, a study table, an almirah, air conditioning, and a geyser are among the other features of LPU flats. At the university, ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs, and disciplinary misbehavior are all forbidden. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines govern entry and egress to a residential institution. You may stay at a lovely hostel at LPU. LPU has vast residential facilities with safe and secure environment. Different categories of accommodations are available at LPU viz. , APARTMENTS STANDARD ROOMS DORMITORIES And its is upto the individual type which to opt, for as charges and facilities varies for each type. But the basic facilities that are constant with all three categories are. , BEDS, ALMIRAH, GEYSER, FAN, TABLE, CHAIR. There are additional charges for AC rooms and this option is available in apartments and some standard rooms only. Besides this the rooms are ventilated and spacious with proper security.

I Have spent my 4 years in the hostel. I loved my hostel life in LPU. I availed 3 seater hostel with AC. I have experienced a lot of good things in LPU as follows. 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with Beds, study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler, and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the different seater options like5,4,3,2,1 etc. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 11. There are general facilities such as a dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at the university campus. 12.60+ATMs of 5 nationalized banks and Post Office facilities for money transfer, speed post, etc. 13. Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. 14. University-Mall, an eight-storied complex, houses departmental stores, various shops, banks, food courts. These help students to meet their daily needs on the campus itself. 15.
