How is the residential facility at LPU?

Some of my friends are utilizing the residential facility at LPU and I have come to know from them that the residential facilities at LPU the safest residential place for a student to live in with 4000+ CCTV cameras and more than 400 security persons, LPU has zero tolerance towards ragging or any other unlawful activities. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. The hostels of LPU are very well managed. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. The hostel has many options to choose from. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater rooms and even dormitories depending upon the availability of the same. If you have any problem with your room partner then you can report your concern to the warden. If you reason is genuine then your room might be changed. One more advantage of staying in LPU hostel is that you get 24x7 library access. LPU offers a huge library system with 11 branches. There are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields. Library system subscribes number of journals, magazines and newspapers. The rooms are cleaned after every two days and infrastructure of hostel is very well constructed with all the amenities a student may require.

Hi, I am pleased to help you here! Yes, one of my colleagues recently joined as an assistant professor and he told me about the residential facilities at LPU. Lovely Professional University- LPU provides a residential facility to its staff and students. It provides hostels as well as Apartments and Flats. In hostels, staff can opt for 2-seater and 3-seater rooms and in apartments, staff can opt for 2-seater, 3-seater, 4-seater shared apartments. Facilities (As Per Policy) &get;&get; 24 Hrs. Electricity Backup &get;&get; 24 Hrs. Water Supply &get;&get; 24 Hrs. Medical Service &get;&get; 24 Hrs. LPU has the largest residential capacity in the world. Hostels here are very good and clean and have all the amenities. Also, when choosing a hostel, you will have a lot of options to opt from. There are AC rooms as well rooms with Cooler. You also get an option to choose the number of people you want to share the room with, whether you want to have 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater rooms, or apartments, etc. You will have water purifiers on each floor which are very frequently maintained. Also, good care is taken to ensure that cleanliness is always maintained. Rooms are cleaned about 2 to 3 times per week. Also, if you have any problem in your room, you can lodge a complaint and the management of the hostel will make sure to get the issue resolved at the earliest. About the Wi-Fi services, it is available almost everywhere on the campus. And about security, LPU has one of the safest campuses in the world. Thanks to the security here that things like ragging, etc. Are just out of the question.

The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! The hostels of LPU are very well managed and are one of the safest residential place for a student to live in. With 4000+ CCTV cameras and more than 400 security persons, LPU has zero tolerance towards ragging or any other unlawful activities. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. There are many benefits of staying in hostel. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. So you cannot sneak out unnecessary from your hostels.

The LPU hostel is so huge that it can accommodate over 20000 students at a time. Its one of its kind and very comfortable. Above all 4000 cameras keep round-the-clock vigil. There is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. The hostel includes the services like Wi-Fi, Departmental Stores, Attached Washroom, Laundry Service, Mess Facility, Hospital Facility, ATM, gymnasiums, bowling alleys, restaurants, playgrounds, nonveg mess, etc. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The hostel has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan and many other Regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea is served at breakfast. In lunch Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita are served. The dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can lodge a complaint. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. Apart from that there are 24 Hrs. Electricity backup Water Supply, and services available There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The campus is ragging-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free so there is no need to fear. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Resident girl students are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point in time. They have to seek permission from the university and the university informs their parents about their leaves and moves. No one can breach the security of the hostel as neither are the boys allowed to enter the girls' hostel nor the walls of the hostel can be climbed as they are very high. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This does give a feeling of prison as the students say in JEST but it's for their safety. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.
