How is the residential facility of LPU?

LPU boasts of not only state of the art academic blocks but also on of the most comfortable residential facilities without compromising security. There is round the clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. The hostel includes the services like Wi-Fi, Departmental Stores, Attached Washroom, Laundry Service, Mess Facility, Hospital Facility, ATM, gymnasiums, bowling alleys, restaurants, playgrounds, non veg mess etc. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The hostel has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan and many other Regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea is served at breakfast. In lunch Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita are served. The dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts. The campus is ragging free, drug free and tobacco free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can lodge a complaint. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. Apart from that there is 24 Hrs. Electricity backup, 24 Hrs. Water Supply, 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment), 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, separate Study Room, TV Room, Mess Services (On Payment), Laundry Services (On Payment), Departmental Store (On Payment), Cafeteria (On Payment), Saloon (On Payment), Printing and copier Shops in all hostels (On Payment), Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable), Play Grounds, Guest Rooms (On Payment), Dedicated Parking (On Payment), Car Wash Facility (On Payment), Shopping. LPU has also opened a Non- Veg food restaurant in collaboration with a vendor Food Factory where all non-veg foods can be enjoyed by all including eggs. This restaurant though operated under LPU has been located adjoining the LPU BH-4 Ground where an LPU guard is placed and opens till late in the night. While one can enjoy non-veg foods without leaving the university it is strictly not allowed to pack the food and bring with you inside the hostel. LPU has roof canteens at each of its blocks and along with it. The food at kiosks has cuisines of Indian, Chinese, African, etc.

The university ensures making this transition smooth and comfortable. The university has a wide range of options that. Meets the needs of all students. There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU are 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. Wooden Box B.Ed Almirah AC Geyser Plastic Chair Study Table 2. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. One of my friends is working at LPU and staying in the LPU apartments with his family. I do not know exactly the residential facility but I have visited him many times and will discuss my experience. The University offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and Girls. The university understand expectations of students who come here from wide variety of cultural and geographical zones and perhaps leave their homes for the first time in their lives. Residential facility in LPU is very good. LPU offers in-campus hostel facility with multiple room options like 1 - seater, 2-seater, 3- seater, 4-seater etc. LPU also offers apartment facilities to students and faculty members both. Also there are different mess options available which student can choose as per their wish,. .

The basic facilities include (a) Air Conditioner/Air cooler in each room, (b) Attached washroom in each room with Geyser (c) B.Ed (d) Study Table, (e) Chair, (f) Partitioned AlmirahThe residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice.
