Good becomes a unclear term when you do not set comparison parameters. If you are hard working and passionate about your field, yes VIT Vellore is good for a B.Tech. The rumors about the institution is all about weirdly strict rules and regulations, but the academics are better than MOST colleges in India. Do not compare to the IITs, run by the government, which cater to a highly filtered group of applicants. If you compare to all other institutions, it is considerably good. 2 years agoVIT is 12th best Engineering institution of India in 2022 NIRF Ranking. It is one of the best choices for engineering. AC (Air-Conditioned) and Non-AC single and shared Bed options. Rooms are equipped with ergonomically designed furniture which includes a cot, chair, study table, study lamp, bookshelf and a cupboard.
