Following is the distribution of seats in the college for different categories:</p><ul><li>Scheduled Caste (SC)</li><li>Scheduled Tribe (ST)</li><li>OBC: Other Backward Classes</li><li>Economically Weaker Sections: EWS</li></ul><p>The proportion of seats for each category is decided by the Government of India after consultation with the University of Delhi. There are reservations under the <strong>PwBD</strong> and <strong>Dependents of Armed Forces Personnel</strong>, too.<br>The allocation of reservations in all categories is subject to the total number of approved seats in any particular BA programme offered by Gargi College.
