    As per NTA, a total 13.11 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main 2025 of which 12.58 lakh appeared. This is the highest number of candidates appeared in JEE Mains in recent years. In 2024, the total number of unique candidates who appeared in both the sessions was 11.7 lakh. Generally, the number of unique candidates appearing in JEE Main every year is around 10 Lacs in both sessions. NTA releases the data every year on the official website with category, gender and state-wise distribution. Candidates can check the number of candidates appearing in JEE Mains every year on this Shiksha page.

    Every year, around 10 lac unique individuals appear in JEE Main in both sessions. Every JEE Mains session, around 6-7 Lacs applicants take the exam. Because there are multiple applicants in both sessions, the overall number will be about 12-13 lacs, with unique candidates being approximately 10 lakh. Every year, the NTA publishes the precise number of students on its official website, along with data by category, gender, and state. No, you cannot request rechecking of the JEE Main result. NTA will not accept any request from candidates in regards to re-evaluation of the scores.
