As per NTA, a total 13.11 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main 2025 of which 12.58 lakh appeared. This is the highest number of candidates appeared in JEE Mains in recent years. In 2024, the total number of unique candidates who appeared in both the sessions was 11.7 lakh. Generally, the number of unique candidates appearing in JEE Main every year is around 10 Lacs in both sessions. NTA releases the data every year on the official website with category, gender and state-wise distribution.
