    Dear reader,

LPU provides equal opportunities for both gender and has signigicant amount of students of both genders.

Since this data is not globally tracked centrally, it is hard to give an accurate quantity.  Every year, as well as between nations, universities, and academic programs, the number of girls pursuing journalism fluctuates greatly.  Typically, statistics are restricted to particular areas or organizations.

For more details contact their admissions department.

    I hope this information helps.

    Hello,
I wonder why does this question even exists. You are being so gender-specific. All I will say is LPU has 30,000+ students and good strength of girls as well, that too from different states of India and even abroad.

I cannot say the exact number but believe me a lot females are pursuing journalism in LPU. Females are doing great in the field of journalism and other creative fields. I think in news channels also we have seen lot of news presenters and reporters are female and I will not go too much beyond but the Founder of NDTV is also a female.

The gender ratio inside the campus is balanced. Moreover, journalism has seen a rise in admissions of female aspirants depicting the distribution of talents and a good sign for students (girls) realizing the importance and scope of other fields other than engineering and medical or management and leaving back the thoughts and fear of old India.

It's not much I would say. I haven't seen a lot actually. Journalism here comes under the minority group among the other streams.
