The ideal number of mock tests to take before appearing for JEE Main 2024 depends on your individual preparation level and confidence. However, 10-15 mock tests in the last month before the exam is crucial for familiarizing yourself with the exam format, time pressure, and identifying areas needing improvement.

If your foundation is strong and you're comfortable with the syllabus, you might need fewer mock tests (around 10-15). If you're less confident, taking more mock tests (around 15-20) can help build exam temperament and improve your time management skills.

During the preparation phase, candidates should solve at least one mock test every week. Candidates are advised to solve at least 10 to 15 mock tests in the last one month before appearing for the real examination. By solving the JEE Main mock test you can get a better understanding of how to manage time better in solving multiple-choice questions.
