    Dear Janvi,

    In India, the term "AAU" commonly refers to Anand Agricultural University in Gujarat. However, if you're inquiring about the number of Agricultural Universities (AUs) in the country, as of now, there are 74 such institutions. This includes 63 State Agricultural Universities, 4 ICAR-Deemed Universities, 3 Central Agricultural Universities, and 4 Central Universities with agriculture faculties.
