How many rounds of CLAT 2025 counselling will be held?

A total of five rounds of CLAT 2023 counselling will be held. The first round of counselling started on January 18, 2023, and the fifth and final round of counselling will start on June 20, 2023. The counselling process is conducted in online mode. Candidates who have qualified for the CLAT 2023 exam will be able to register for the counselling process on the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). The registration fee for the counselling process is Rs. 30,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 20,000 for SC/ST candidates. After registration, candidates will be able to fill their choice of colleges and courses. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their CLAT 2023 rank and their choice of colleges. Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to pay the admission fee and submit the required documents. The counselling process is a very important step in the admission process for CLAT 2023. Candidates who are serious about getting admission to a good NLU must make sure that they participate in the counselling process and submit all the required documents.

Candidates seeking admission to NLU Lucknow courses must apply through CLAT Counselling. CLAT Counselling is conducted round wise for seat allotment to NLUs including Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. The allotment results can be checked by the registered candidates on the official website of CLAT 2023. For NLU Lucknow cutoff 2022, CLAT Counselling concluded after four rounds, where the closing rank (CR) for BBA LLB (Hons) stood at 696.&nbsp;</p>

NLU Calcutta accepts CLAT 2023 scores for admission to the Law courses including BA LLB (Hons) at UG level and LLM at PG level. Candidates seeking admission to NLU Kolkata courses must apply through CLAT Counselling. CLAT Counselling is conducted round-wise for seat allotment to NLUs including NLU Kolkata. The allotment results can be checked by the registered candidates on the official website of CLAT 2023. For NLU Kolkata cutoff 2022, CLAT Counselling concluded after the fourth round.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CLAT Consortium will conduct at least five rounds of seat allotment for CLAT 2025. Before each round, the consortium will share the seat allotment list for the remaining seats. In case there are still seats vacant after the fifth round, the counselling mop-up round will be held at institute level. In CLAT 2024 as well, there were total of five CLAT seat allotment rounds until all seats at the participating NLUs were secured by candidates.</p>
