There are at least five rounds of counselling and seat allotment for CLAT exam. Multiple rounds of counselling are conducted by the NLU Consortium every year. The rounds of CLAT counselling may increase if the seats remain vacant after the fifth round. For CLAT 2022, the counselling process went upto five rounds, and in 2021 as well, there were total five seat allotment rounds conducted by the Consortium.
