How many students are generally there in IITs who have dropped a few of their years before getting into the respective colleges?

HI,
Hard to find out this number, and now you can only drop a single year to get into IIT because number of Attempts for JEE advance is only 2 that too in consecutive years that is including the year you did your 12th
