AIBE All India Bar Examination, is a national level exam conducted by Bar Council of India (BCI) with the objective of assessing the capability of advocates who want to practice law in India. All India Bar Examination is certification exam conducted twice a year by Bar Council of India for law graduates willing to start practice of profession as Lawyer. The exam is conducted in 50 cities having 140 centres as an open book exam.

Till 2019, the All India Bar Examination was conducted twice a year, however, from 2020 onwards (after the COVID pandemic), the exam is being held once a year. The AIBE is a national-level exam conducted by the BCI for law graduates who want to practice in a court of law. Both 3-year LL.B. And 5-year LL.B. Graduates are eligible to appear in the All India Bar Examination. Students who qualify in the All India Bar Examination exam are issued certificates of practice that allow the students to practice law in a court of law in India.
