Dear Nagesh, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. After the completion of the diploma programme you will directly get admission to the 2nd year of BTech through lateral entry at LPU. You should have a minimum of 60% marks in your diploma. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. in which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the EE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study EE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab, and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop, and many more.
