    Not all are uniform regarding the percentage. Top notch schools have a cut-off as 90% and above. Some schools who are in the race of being the top ones have cut off around 80%-85%. Mediocre schools have a percentage range between 60% - 80%. Some dummy schools take up even students with 45%. It completely depends on the school you approach. I would suggest you to get a percentage between 75%-85% to get admission into a decent school.

    Most of the colleges don't have any minimum required percentage of class 10th to give you admission into PUC Science stream. Most of the colleges have their own set of rules, but to give you a rough idea, 60% plus will be preferred.
