    For entering into the BITs, you need to qualify BITS exam. And for cracking this exam with a score of atleast 380 marks, you need some best study strategies:
    1. Understand each topic clearly.
    2. Do smart work and not hard work.
    3. Make smart and good notes.
    4. Revise all the formulaes.
    5. Solve as many as previous year question papers.

    From my experience, I would like you to take note of the following things:
    Speed is the key
    BITSAT paper pattern: 150 questions in a 3-hour duration.
    This accounts for an average speed of 0.833 question per minute.
    Comparing this with JEE Mains (90 questions in 3 hours), we get an avg. of 0.5 question per min. Apparently, you need to be almost twice as fast.
    So, here are some tips to increase your speed:
    (Note that you need to inculcate these in your habit, keep them in mind while you are preparing)
    Write as less as possible. Skip unnecessary steps and calculations.

    For scoring atleast 380 marks in BITSAT, you need to work really hard as the competition level is on a high rise. But don't worry, all you need to do is to just practice that you have learned in your 11th and 12th standard. Start from getting aware about the syllabus and exam pattern and make a strict routine for the time left for preparation. Schedule fixed slots in days for each subject. Try to learn the basics concepts of physics, chemistry and mathematics and give emphasis on all the three subjects, not on a single one. Grab your hold over English and reasoning also.     All the graduate entrance exams for engineering cover almost same topics with little bit tweaking.
    Practice online BITS mock tests, take a BITSAT mock series from any coaching center to understand more about the pattern.
    Plan your studies as per the time available to you.

No, you cannot get admission at BITS Pilani with 60% marks. As per the eligibility criteria students must qualify Class 12 with 75% marks from the recognised board. It is mandatory for students to qualify the eligiblity criteria. The institute also accepts admission based on the entrance exams.
