It is really a competitive and one of the top examinations for engineering admission in India.

IIT is the dream of many candidates who left behind everything to make their dream true and a little mistake and lack of proper guidance give a bitter taste to the candidate result.
Here are the few common mistakes that a candidate do during their preparation:-
    1. Never underestimate NCERT e.g.; in 2016 3 questions asked from Biomolecules chapter 14 from chemistry 12th and true line is mentioned in NCERT book.
    2. Never try to collect a lot of books if you want to refer only one side book because going through the different book may confuse you.

There are few things to remember for avoiding these so called silly mistakes.
    1. Remain calm during the exam. Practice it during the mocks itself.
    2. Do not do any last minute preparations (just before the exam). My advice is that don't study anything at least the day before the exam. Even if you want to then make sure at least don't study the night before the exam.
    3. Get proper sleep before the exam. If your mind is not fresh, you will surely make some silly mistakes.
    4. Don't eat too much before the exam as it can make you a bit sleepy and lousy. So, make sure you have a light breakfast before the exam. You should have enough food so t

It's very important to point out common mistakes and encounter them. A mistake which occurs due to the calculation is quite popular. One can't make the strategy to avoid it. You need a lot of practice and have to take these mistake right from the beginning. You need to improve and work on these mistakes. I have seen some students bubble the wrong answer which is quite irritating. They repeat the same mistakes again and again. My brother did it in IIT paper.

    Hi,
I would like to share my personal experience here. I was practicing mock tests daily started before a month to JEE Mains. There was one question from topic Functions of mathematics (which was my favorite subject) in that mock test which my friend couldn't solve and I solved it perfectly within 10 seconds. After the test and marks calculations, we used to discuss the doubts. I explained him that question of Functions and he understood. On the day of JEE Mains, I was pretty surprised to see the very first question being the same question of Functions. I was very confident about that question and started solving the same, and I stuck s
