    Hey,
Special educators are also in high demand these days due to increasing number of children with disabilities
The education qualifications required to be a special educator varies according to the teaching level i.e. pre primary, primary, secondary etc. but a diploma/certificate or a degree in special education is must to be a special educator

    Hi
If you aim at being a lecturer, then I would advice you to go for a regular masters degree in a relevant discipline and clear U.G.C NET conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
    NET eligibility:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.

To be a TGT(trained graduate teacher) or a PGT(post graduate teacher) you need to be graduate and a post graduate respectively. Apart from that you need to pursue your B.Ed and qualify the Teacher's eligibility test(TET) conducted by the state or the Centre Teacher Eligibility test(CTET) .
