How tough is it to get admission for B.Tech CSE in LPU with above 90% in 12th exams?

Hi, You can apply for admission directly. Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed and admissions are being done online. The eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. I inquired in LPU few days ago for my nephew. So, I can answer you more efficiently. Although percentage above 90% in 12th class may help you to get higher scholarship but for getting Admission in B.Tech there is nothing to do with above 90% in 12th class. The admissions to B.Tech are not based on your 10+2 marks, but on LPU NEST or JEE Mains score. Candidate must have 60% aggregate in 12th and LPU NEST must be qualified. If either you appeared in JEE Mains JAN 2020 or you have appeared in LPU NEST JAN schedule 1 of year 2020 then LPU is coming up with special online counselling schedule. Special Counselling Schedule Last date to apply: 20th April Rank Declaration: 22nd April Choice of stream filling: 22nd to 24th April Stream Allotment Letter: 25th April Admission Online: 25th to 30th April 2020. But if did not appear either in JEE Mains Jan 2020 or LPU NEST Jan 2020 then LPU is advising you to apply LPU NEST schedule 2 before 20 April. LPU will update you dates of the exam. Well it may conduct near to JEE Mains schedule 2.

The admissions to B.Tech are not based on your 10+2 marks, but on LPU NEST or JEE Mains score. However, 90% will assure you the maximum scholarship in whichever is applicable to stream of your choice. For CSE, the highest possible scholarship till April 30 is 40% of course fee. After that is likely to change. If you have appeared either in LPU NEST or JEE Mains in January 2020, you are eligible to participate in special counselling schedule. CSE at LPU is a flagship programme, the department attract more than 270 companies for recruitment every year, with Microsoft leading the way with package of 42 LPA.

Dear Ritik, LPU is a premier university where you have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria to get admission. As per LPU policy a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in +2 (PCM) and qualify LPU NEST (Admission cum scholarship test) for admission. Based on your marks in +2 you will get handsome scholarship on your tuition fee. The syllabus of test is same as your PCM subjects. Hello, No, it's not tough - you have really good marks and you can apply easily in LPU and as per the current scenario of national lock down due to COVID 19 you can apply directly online on lpu website. Apply till or before 30th April 2020 so you can avail the maximum possible scholarship too Best wishes. Thanks.

Hi,Congratulations for your score of XIIth. You would be getting a good scales of scholarship based on your XIIth score. Start the admission procedure before the seats fill up due to online admissions. Click open the college web site. Click on admissions and then the stream in which you want to take admission. Check the available scholarship benefits for you. Start filling in the form online updating it with the things it requires. In case you are unable to fill it from the web site would have certain helpline numbers which promptly come for your aid. You need to start the admission procedure soon as the seats are filling fast due to online admissions. Seats are filling fast so take admission by 30th June for the best benefits. Good Luck.

Getting admission in LPU is not that tough as we all think. You just need to be thorough with your basics and you can easily ace the entrance test conducted by the university. But particularly for CSE you must score less than 4K rank.
