It is not tough to qualify for the LPU NEST exam if you are good at academics. If you have studied well in the 11th and 12th classes, then you will not face any problem in the LPU NEST as the syllabus of the LPU NEST for B.Tech in CSE is the same as per the qualifying exam. The main advantage of the test is that there is no negative marking in the exam. So, you can easily qualify for the exam. I would recommend you refer to the LPU NEST website for the sample of the question and previous year's question papers. I hope this helps.

LPU NEST is a scholarship based exam conducted by LPU so that students can attain some scholarship and make their education a bit more pocket friendly. These scholarships may vary as per course of your choice. The LPU NEST exam is not tough at all since it is based upon your previous subjects. Eg: if you are applying for Bachelors your NEST exam will be based upon your 12th course. Surely it is easy to get into CSE if you have performed as per the requirements and have crack the eligibility criteria as well.

Hi! LPU NEST is not that tough compared to other top entrance exams like JEE Main JEE Advanced VITEEE BITSAT. I have attended all these exams after my 12th. I fetched a rank of 882 out of 1L+ students, who attempted the exam. So, you must be good at the basic syllabus which you must have studied from school. Practice some mock questions and papers before appearing for the exam and you will be good to fetch a good Rank. I got 882 rank in LPU NEST and 60k rank in the VITEEE exam. By this, you can compare the difficulty. Yet, you need to be strong in your core knowledge!

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
