Online MBA is generally looked as a non accredited due to a few government rules in India but things are changing and soon it will be very well accepted. Distance learning or Online MBA if for professionals or student with less budget but practical experience is much more important than taking a degree. Degree is important as it serves as eligibility criteria in almost all jobs but they will test your knowledge rather than degree. If you have enough knowledge then degree will not have much impact.

Online or distance course of management particularly Masters of Business Administration makes sense if a candidate is working full-time in his own venture or in a company. The experience one gets is definitely a way lesser than a regular MBA. As MBA is just not a course that has to be studied technically, but an experience to learn. From the point of a recruiter, regular MBA is any day better than an online course, still having a degree is better than having no post graduation degree. Enrolling for an online course in case one is not working on something important does not make much sense.

    Hi,
Now a days, MBA program is such a selective and well know program. Not only from Management people going to this program as well as other stream students also interested in this program. So, competition is more.
If you are just finished with you graduation now full-year MBA has more weightage than Online MBA studies.
If you are an employee with a basis of just graduation, need a post-graduation to higher promotion then you can go through online MBA courses. For getting a job from the recruiter's point of view is just a graduate there is no such experience or study experience are not there in online studies because MBA study in a full
