How would you compare the new IIMs with the already established ones?

Until a decade before, IIMs were the most desired B-schools. In 2009, things started to change with the opening of several new IIMs, starting with IIM-Rohtak, and followed by more, in Ranchi, Raipur, Trichy, Kashipur, Udaipur, Nagpur and six other cities. While this means that the aspirants have an elevated chance of getting admission, the value of brand IIM has been eroded in the method. The new IIMs have not been able to match the standards of the older ones on various parameters, including the quality of faculty/students, infrastructure, as well as ability to attract top recruiters.

The new IIMs are born with a silver spoon, but attaining adulthood that matches the standards of their older cousins is likely to be painful. Apart from quality education and research work of students and faculty, the older IIMs had been valued mainly for the high-paying jobs their students got. This led to high expectations from the newer IIMs too. The reality has turned out to be different as the new IIMs are just the opposite of our expectations. This is a pretty straightforward question.
The comparison is same as old IITs and new IITs. The old IIMs are well established and have a great brand name (especially IIM A/B/C). Their brand name has a great value in Industry followed by IIM-Indore and Kozhikode. The new IIMs aren't that established yet but are surely progressing at a good pace. The new IIMs consist of IIM-Kashipur, IIM-Raipur, IIM-Ranchi, IIM-Rohtak, IIM-Udaipur and IIM-Tiruchirappalli. Most of them are decent.
