I am 43 years old - MBA(FIn)&M.com (advance Accountancy)&want to take my career in IT(after 18 years of work experience.Will it possible ?

Swapnil, 100% possible and it is even increasing day by day in India too. But you should have enough money to bear the loss if you fail and you should be very good in what you are going to do. This is called (What you demand.) occupational mobility and in India this is not very easy for everyone to switchover from old profession to a new one and more difficult in your 40s or 50s. This is because we are a developing nation. Now, what I would like to suggest you is something similar you are asking for. You can go in a sub-field of IT which can utilize your old experience and qualification both, that would be very good. As it is tough to start from very beginning i.e. new qualification and a bit of experience you will need to be succeed in IT sector. Go and learn softwares related with accountancy and finance and try to find out a job on the basis of same old qualifications and new skills of IT. You will find a better future keeping your old experience as such too. Now you are in IT, Finance and Accounts. Moreover, if you don'thave flare for mathematics & programming then I would like to tell you that this field of software development is time taking, of more practise and full with tedious problems.
