I am a 10th pass out with interest in technology. I want to go for a Diploma. Can you suggest a course for me?

You can do Diploma in any of the stream as per your interest: Electrical Civil Chemical Computer Science IT Electronics and Telecommunication Petroleum Aeronautical Aerospace Automobile Food TechnologyEligibility Criteria for taking admission is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th, subject to qualifying entrance exam. Some institutes give direct admission to students on the basis of their marks in 10th. You can do it from : DTU, PTU, UPTU, LPU Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati College of Engineering Pune Lovely Professional University Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology Chennai, Vellore Institute of Technology P. After 10th, if you're interested in doing technology studies then after 10th, you can take admission for Diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering, Diploma in information technology, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in mechanical and Diploma in civil engineering.

Hi Rushab, Yes, it is good to go with Diploma. As you are interested in technology, doing Diploma boosts your knowledge and helps in Bachelor of Technology. If you also do Bachelor of Technology it provides you with a degree. So complete your Diploma and also complete the Bachelor's degree. All the best.

Hi Rushabh, The admission to the Diploma Engineering Courses is made through the Joint Entrance Test. Candidates who qualify the JET are eligible to apply for admission to various courses being run in the affiliated institutions of the Board. The admission to these institutions will be based on the relative merit of the candidates in the JET in their respective category. All candidates desirous of applying for admission are required to submit admission application form with the requisite fee before the last date fixed for submission of the same. Those candidates who qualify the JET can apply for the admission to various Institutions affiliated with the Board. Admission will be purely on the inter-se-merit of JET. Candidates desirous to take admission should fill up the admission form, which is included in the prospectus. ENTRY QUALIFICATION: For Diploma (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Computer and IT): The Applicant must posses an aggregate of 55% in Mathematics and Science in 10 Std. from CBSE or its equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. OR 12th Pass with 55% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized Board or Institutions. ITI pass outs (who passed at least 10 level school leaving examination before admission to ITI course) & 10+2 pass (Vocational stream) candidates can apply for admission to the relevant branch.
