M.Sc in food technology is a 2-year postgraduate course. Food technology is the branch of food science involving the processing, protection, preparation, selection, distribution, and utilization of sheltered, nutritious and healthy nourishment.
The discipline is about:
1 reducing the gap between gathered sustenance and available food by changing the method of completed item, i.e., processing, packaging and storage conditions, etc.
2 Healthy food, diets, calories, nutrition status, etc.
3 planning and management of the production process from raw materials to finished product taking food safety and quality into account.
