Yes, this institute is promoted by ISRO. Admissions to this institute is based in ranking in JEE Advanced. If you are doing FYJC, then you have already missed on one chance. There is an upper limit for appearing in JEE Mains after class 12th. I would advise you to immediately have a look at the webpage of JEE Mains to know the details.
