    Yes, you have good chances of getting government colleges. There are many government colleges in which you can get admission because your rank is good.

    Yes, there are many government colleges you can get into. Try for RV college of Engineering, NIT Trichy and NIT Kozhikode. Also, you can filter the colleges on your different preferences, kindly follow the link:
