I am confused about private colleges for CSE. Should I join LPU or amity or Chandigarh university.. or any college from my state(MP)?

Is it worth going this far (1000km approximately) to PUNJAB or NOIDA for engineering?

Hello Prem Kanpur, it's a million dollars question! Different persons will have different answers. What should tilt the scale for a particular institute is its reputation for placements if students. But then as per some experts, this too is not a foolproof criteria! I feel you should take admission in an institution that is convenient to reach and has reasonably good reputation for academics. Best wishes to you.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
