Hi Mainak, There is nothing like marks and merits on the basis of categories in LPU. LPU does not promote reservation on the basis of categories. The Scholarships on basis of LPU NEST are 40, 30 and 20% for CSE and Robotics, 25, 35 and 45% in all other trades. You must write LPU NEST. The marks for scholarships depend upon the overall test attendance and performance of all students. So, the scores may differ year on year basis. The placements scenario at LPU has beaten all the lockdown gloom, with over 700 companies coming to campus for recruitment means a lot, especially when economy is not doing very well. Hi Mainak Kar
You need to get at least 50-60% to get into the scholarship category. Moreover, the scholarship also depends upon your 12th percentile. LPU provides the best placements in top MNC's with handsome packages.

Dear, Yes, if you miss the first phase of LPU NEST, you can still apply for the next phase. Lovely Professional University conducts LPU NEST in multiple phases each year to give students several chances to appear for the exam and qualify for admission or scholarships. You simply need to check the updated schedule on the official LPU website and complete the registration process for the upcoming phase. However, applying in the earlier phases is recommended, as it often provides better chances for higher scholarships and early admission to preferred programs.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. Dear, To manage time effectively during the LPU NEST exam, start by carefully reading all the instructions and understanding the question pattern before you begin. Divide your total exam time based on the number of questions—allocate a few minutes to each and avoid spending too long on any single question.

Begin with the sections or questions you find the easiest to build confidence and secure quick marks, then move on to more challenging ones. Keep track of time using the on-screen timer and make sure to leave a few minutes at the end to review your answers. Practice mock tests regularly before the exam to improve your speed and accu
