Yes definitely, LPU is the best college to go for, as it offers quality education at a reasonable cost and remarkable placements. It has earned enormous and reputed ranks and accreditation in a very short period both nationally and internationally, offering immense opportunities to its students worldwide, which it is one of the best factors. Good luck.

Manish Motwani · Answer

If you are getting any government college of good ranking and placement around your location then you can spend a huge amount of money after clearing the entrance of other private colleges such as Manipal and VIT, then not. Though, VIT is very far from your side so that won't be a good option. Else, you should go for LPU. It's a good package of all the fundamental commodities packaged at lower fee for a start of a great career. Moreover, do B.Tech in only core branch from LPU, only that is worthy. Also, you'll get scholarship above 50 % if you have scored above 200 out of 400. Rest depends on your marks.

Abhilash Mishra · Answer

It totally depends on your rank. If your ranks is at top 10 you will be given full scholarship. If you do not have any option left you can give it a shot.

Ankita Sharma · Answer

You need to get at least 50-60% to get into the scholarship category in LPU. Moreover, the scholarship also depends upon your 12th percentile. LPU provides the best placements in top MNC's with great packages.

ParmSidhu · Answer

If you are from Tripura and belong to the General category, you can apply for B.Tech at Lovely Professional University (LPU), and being from a North-East state gives you a 10% relaxation in the prescribed Class 12 aggregate eligibility requirement, subject to the programme rules. For B.Tech, LPU currently lists LPUNEST scholarship cutoffs of 300 out of 400 for Category A, 212 out of 400 for Category B and 150 out of 400 for Category C. These are tentative scholarship cutoffs based on previous applicants, so they can change for the current admission cycle. For B.Tech programmes covered by the current scholarship table, qualifying through Category A can correspond to a 60% programme-fee scholarship, Category B to 50%, Category C to 40%, and Category D to 30%, subject to the applicable programme, admission phase and scholarship conditions. The university's published information also shows that scholarships can be available through Class 12 marks, JEE Main or CUET, so LPUNEST is not necessarily your only route to a scholarship. As for whether LPU is worth considering, that depends on your course, budget and career goals rather than your state or category. If your objective is B.Tech and you can obtain a substantial scholarship, it can make the overall cost more manageable. LPU also offers need-based financial aid in eligible cases; its current scheme includes a 30% programme-fee benefit for selected applicants with annual family income of up to Rs 5 lakh, subject to conditions and available seats. Therefore, if you are preparing for LPUNEST, aiming for at least 300/400 would put you at the currently published Category A level, while 212/400 and 150/400 are the published Category B and C levels. These should be treated as targets rather than guaranteed fixed cutoffs.

Ainika · Answer

As an LPU student, I would prefer LPU as it has helped me with my professional development and has given me access to various internship opportunities, workshops, conferences, industry visits, internships, etc. LPUNEST is the LPU's national admissions and scholarship test. This entrance exam includes both program eligibility and scholarship. For some programs it serves both purposes and for some it is for scholarship purposes only. For each program, the model and schedule are different. You can go to the university's website and prepare by going through sample topics and questionnaires. The level of difficulty of Exam depends on your preparation. If you have done your best to prepare for the exam, you can qualify very easily and even get a much better score to qualify for the scholarship as well. This exam is taken to test your basic conceptual knowledge of the subjects you have been studying since the 12th grade. Because the purpose of LPU NEST is different for different programs. Approximately 60% score in LPU NEST is required to be eligible, while a scholarship eligibility cap is required depending on the applicable scholarship. To prepare for the exam, you can consult the sample questionnaire, questions and syllabus at the link provided in the notes below. For more information, visit the LPU's official website.
