LPU NEST has 3 categories cut off and on that basis, you get the maximum scholarship and your fee is decided. LPU NEST category 1 cut off gives you a scholarship of 50%
category 2 cut off gives you a scholarship of 40 %
and category 3 cut off gives you a scholarship of 30%
the cut off marks are usually decided on the number of students appearing in the test and seats available for a particular programme you are appear
Outoff 360 you need to score 120 for passing which will help to get a minimum scholarship. But its to easy getting admission if you have a score above 60% in board exam. Bracket-1 Cut-off, Around 220 (May vary by 10-15 marks)

If you are getting any government college of good ranking and placement around your location then you can spend a huge amount of money after clearing the entrance of other private colleges such as Manipal and VIT, then not.Though, VIT is very far from your side so that won't be a good option. Else, you should go for LPU. It's a good package of all the fundamental commodities packaged at lower fee for a start of a great career. Moreover, do B.Tech in only core branch from LPU, only that is worthy. Also, you'll get scholarship above 50 % if you have scored above 200 out of 400. Rest depends on your marks.
  • Dear Student, eligibility criteria for B. Tech is: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Main or
in case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST or JEE Main will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. LPUNEST Scholarship Slabs:If you have 90% marks in LPUNEST Or 98% or above aggregate marks in qualifying exam,Scholarship will be 65000 and fee will be 29500.
If you are among Top 10 % students of LPUNES Or 90% - 97.99% aggregate marks in qualifying examScholarship will be 40000 and fee will be 54500.
If you are among Next 1

It totally depends on your rank. If your ranks is at top 10 you will be given full scholarship. If you do not have any option left you can give it a shot.

You need to get at least 50-60% to get into the scholarship category in LPU. Moreover, the scholarship also depends upon your 12th percentile. LPU provides the best placements in top MNC's with great packages.

For qualifying LPU NEST you need to score minimum marks of 30-40%. There 3 tiers of scholarship and if you fall in any of this category you will be awarded the scholarship accordingly. The amount of Scholarship you will be getting depends upon
: the category of scholarship you are falling in
: programme for which you have appeared in the LPU-NEST
: Phase of the admission you are seeking admission in.

As an LPU student, I would prefer LPU as it has helped me with my professional development and has given me access to various internship opportunities, workshops, conferences, industry visits, internships, etc.
LPUNEST is the LPU's national admissions and scholarship test. This entrance exam includes both program eligibility and scholarship. For some programs it serves both purposes and for some it is for scholarship purposes only. For each program, the model and schedule are different. You can go to the university's website and prepare by going through sample topics and questionnaires.
The level of difficulty of Exam
    depends on your prep
