I did my Diploma last year in ECE with 75%. What is the admission procedure for this course?

    Hello,I am unable to get the course you are looking for. I will try to help you with eligibility of both the courses.
    If you are looking forward with B.Sc (Hons.) Economics at LPU, eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.
    Now, after your diploma if you are looking for B.Tech Lateral Entry , eligibility for same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or equivalent.

    B.Tech lateral entry programme instead of B.Sc Economics.
    For B.Sc Economics, we consider class 12th percentage and eligibility is 60% with English + LPUNEST (entrance test).
    You can apply for an entrance test NEST from this link- https://nest.lpu.in/let/index.php
    Last date to apply is 31st March and test will be conducted from 5th April-30th April. Result will be declared by 4th May. Then you have to participate in an online counseling from 4th May-9th May. Result of allocation will be declared by 10th May and accordingly you can proceed with admissions till 16th May.

    Hi Diksha,
    You will easily get admission in B.Tech. ECE [Lateral Entry] there is certain eligibility criteria which you need to satisfy. Scholarship is offered on the basis of marks scored in either of the last two qualifications or LPU NEST. The online admissions are already open. You can take admission prior to 30th April to avail maximum scholarships. I advise you to visit LPU website "www.lpu.in".

    On 75% you are eligible and will get scholarship as well.
    To improvise the scholarship, you can appear in LPUNEST but before that plan your admission at the earliest.
    LPU is on with online admissions due to COVID-19

    Admissions are open in Lovely professional university, for all the programmes. As per your details, you can apply for B.tech ECE lateral entry. The eligibility for this programme is 60 percentages of aggregate marks in your diploma.
    Based on 75 percentage you can avail scholarship which will be reduced from your fees per semester.
    Just visit the website of LPU and proceed with the following steps for admission:-
    Select desired program (Under head Admissions on the website)
    Fill information and click Apply Now
    Fill the remaining form
    Make minimum payment of Rs 10000
    Upload necessary documents
