I got 117 marks in JEE Mains and expecting 430+ marks in CBSE board exams. Can I get any NIT?

I am from Tamil Nadu and want to pursue B.Tech in computer science.

    You can get a NIT, if you belong to SC ST category.

    If you belong to the general or OBC category it will be difficult and for further information, you should check the list of different colleges (NIT's) that come under JEE counseling. Then compare your rank with previous year cutoff for different colleges.

    With these marks in JEE Mains, it will be difficult for you to go into the NIT CSE branch if you are a general student.

    You may get into an NIT but your CBSE marks doesn't really matter alot.
