I got 117 marks in JEE Mains and expecting 430+ marks in CBSE board exams. Can I get any NIT?

I am from Tamil Nadu and want to pursue B.Tech in computer science.

    It will depend on your category and 430+ in CBSE will not affect your Mains rank and on 117, you can get a NIT.

    You can get NIT but from computer branch will be difficult. So, you change your branch option. Otherwise, NIT of Assam is good or of other states. You can apply for it.

    Hi Sri!
    You should check the list of different colleges (NIT's) which comes under JEE counselling. Then compare your rank with previous year cutoff for different colleges. moreover chances are high if you have any reserved quota like SC St. But your marks 117 can definitely get you a branch in lowset NIT.

    Yes, you will surely get some NIT but it would neither be a decent one nor a good branch, if you belong to general category.
