I got 117 marks in JEE Mains and expecting 430+ marks in CBSE board exams. Can I get any NIT?
I am from Tamil Nadu and want to pursue B.Tech in computer science.

You can get NIT but from computer branch will be difficult. So, you change your branch option. Otherwise, NIT of Assam is good or of other states. You can apply for it.

Hi Sri!
You should check the list of different colleges (NIT's) which comes under JEE counselling. Then compare your rank with previous year cutoff for different colleges. moreover chances are high if you have any reserved quota like SC St. But your marks 117 can definitely get you a branch in lowset NIT. -

For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
