I got 57 marks in JEE Mains and expecting 86% in ISC board. I love technology and gadgets. What should I do now?
I am an average student.

Sorry to say but you haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get admission in any of the colleges accepting JEE Mains. You may get admission in any private college like Chandigarh university, lPU on the basis of 12th percentage.

You should go to a private college and follow your passion by choosing the branch you want.

Dear Siddhant, I would recommend engineering in electronics and communication as per your interest, Moreover, 86% marks are good enough for admission to reputed engineering institutes. There are many good institutes for engineering such as IITs, NITs, Amrita, LPU, UPES, etc. My friend did B.Tech in ECE from LPU. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational...more

Hi,
To get into good engineering colleges, you require a minimum 80 percentile. However, many colleges conduct their own entrance test like LPU conducts its own test called LPU NEST for both eligibility and scholarship purposes. Check it's website for more details. Good luck. -
As you have not qualified the cut off marks in JEE Mains, so you cannot apply for counselling under JoSAA. So, I would suggest either you take admission into any private college, In a branch of your interest ( CSE/IT/EEE/etc. . would be good for you ) or else you can try for any government colleges in your own state. All the best.
