I got 65% in class 12th from CBSE board. Am I eligible to get admission in any NIT through JEE Mains with a qualifying score for NIT?

Can I take admission in 2017 as I am dropping this year for JEE Mains 2017 preparation. I belong to general category.

Belonging to the general category, with 65% in board you can't get admission in any of the NITs, IITs, IIITs and out of any other CFTIs, even if you have topped JEE. The eligibility criteria is minimum 75% for general.

Sorry to say but not at all if you belong to general category. But, chances would be there if you belong to ST, SC or non-creamy layer in OBC.
