I had completed MCA in 2005 with 70% and have 11 years of IT experience. I am interested in Ph.D programme. Am I eligible for NET 2018?

Yes you can appear
Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Master's Degree or equivalent from a recognised university in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam conducted by NTA. -
Hi,
Yes, you can appear for exam. You can get details regarding syllabus, eligibility criteria, age, etc. , in CSIRHRDG. RES. IN website. All the best. -
Hello Sitansu,
Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET exam. But make sure you fulfil all the eligibility criteria of the exam. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in post graduation if you are from the general category or if you belong to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category then you should have at least 50% aggregate marks. As you say you have 70% marks in MCA so you are definitely eligible for the exam. If you want to apply for JRF your age must not more than 30 years but for assistant professor no restriction on age. You can appear for that when you want to do. -
You can apply for NET if you meet the eligibility and age criteria. Refer to the link for details: https://www.shiksha.com/teaching-education/exams/ugc-net.
