Most universities, however, have their own rules and will not allow students more than the university maximum to finish with a degree. This duration is usually an additional year or more from that of the main course in order to allow for any interruptions. It has been nearly nine years since you stopped, so assuming a five year limit, now could be beyond the allowable. In addition to the curriculum for classes, some of your requirements from before you took time off might be different now. Call up the admissions office (or academic departments) of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Hyderabad from which you completed your UG degree and inquire about their re-enrollment policies as well as whether they offer special schemes for long breaks between education years</p>
