I have 2.5 years of experience in production field and now I want to pursue MBA in finance, So will this affect in placement?

Dear Karan,
Yes it would. But not that much or in a much positive way. As the companies come for Finance or even marketing given an edge to the experienced people, but it doesn't happen much that they would provide you with the higher package. It happens in some cases only.

Obviously, experience in any field will help you in doing MBA. You will understand each and every subjects in a way that is not perceived by other students with no experience.
Its a good option to do finance after working in production field.
You have to select major/specialisation after spending one year of MBA. Things may change at that time for you but if you are sure then go for it. There is nothing wrong in it.
