I have 94.1 percent in JEE. Can I expect CSE in any NIT? I have 400 out of 470 marks in 12th boards and I belong to EWS category.

    Hi. NIT Trichy admission 2022 is ongoing now. Admission to flagship B.Tech programme is granted on the basis of rank secured in the JEE Main examination followed by JoSAA counselling. JEE Main 2022 result for session 1 (June) was announced on July 11, 2022. Results are available on the official website of NTA. JEE Main admit card 2022 for session-2 released on July 21, 2022.     The candidates from the unreserved category must score a minimum of 95+ percentile to get CSE in any NIT. Considering previous cut off, it is difficult to get seat in CSE in any NIT and even IIITs and GFTIs. Your rank must be below 20000 to get seat in a NIT in CSE. JEE Main Cut off is of two types- qualifying and admission. JEE Main Qualifying Cut off refers to the minimum percentile required by candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced. JEE Main Admission Cut off, on the other hand, is the opening and closing ranks required by candidates for B.Tech admission to NITs, IIITs or GFTIs.
