I have completed Diploma in Computer Engineering. Do I need to give entrance exam for admission to B.E?

<p>If one successfully finishes the Diploma in Computer Engineering, then there would not be any requirement to attempt a common entrance test for admission to Bachelor's in Engineering. He/she would be considered eligible for lateral entry. In this case, a Diploma holder can directly enter into the second year of the B.E. or B.Tech course program.</p><p>However, the rest of the states and universities will have their separate lateral entry entrance-test like JELET in West Bengal, and LEET in Haryana. Some private universities may offer direct admission based on the marks obtained in the diploma.Completed prerequisites regarding which specific college or state he/she wants to apply.</p>
