    Hi, there I am an alumnus of LPU. I have also worked with LPU in admissions. As a part-time counsellor, they do give the opportunity to their students for work they also give training for the same so I know better about their programmes they offer 200+ programmes and all the programmes. And with this LPU is a good university that has many accreditation and approvals from government bodies. LPU does offer this programme.     Yes, of course, if you are passionate about the teaching profession then you must complete your doctorate degree as well.     Higher education is always a good option, If you are planning to become a teacher a Ph.D. is a very good option. Being an alumnus of LPU, I would say Ph.D at LPU is very good, as my friend has done Ph.D from LPU.     Yes, you should definitely go for Ph.D. if want to start your career in teaching. Every university or college nowadays hires only Ph.D. holder candidate. Moreover, you have taken a good decision to pursue Ph.D. at LPU. Let me share something about the Ph.D. programme at LPU. Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam if you have not qualified a national level test such as GATE UGC NET CSIR, GPAT etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection.     Yes, sure you can do Ph.D. in the relevant discipline in order to enhance your career in the respective field. For individuals who want to teach, a part-time Ph.D. programme is highly beneficial as they gain many years of teaching experience while they finish up their Ph.D. course.
