I have failed in 4 subjects in sem 3 and just finished my sem 4 papers and waiting for result. Will I be promoted or not?

I am doing B.Com from S.t Xaviers University.

    Hey, after failing in 4 subjects in semester 3, how can you hope to get promoted. You need to clear your backlog even after passing out in semester 6th. Without clearing it you will never get your degree. So clear it first then be the graduate.
