To become a successful programmer one needs to know about algorithms, data structure and mathematics. In mathematics you should know the topics like linear algebra, set theories, discrete math, number theory and some calculus. You don't need to be scholar in maths but basic concepts and problem solving skills is must. So start your journey and good luck.

7 years agoIf you don't have maths in 12th class, that's not a problem. You can still become a good programmer. You can join BCA course to start your programming career. In BCA, you'll be learning some management skills, communication skills, programing and also you'll be taught maths. So, that's not a big problem. You can also choose B.Sc. (IT) course. BCA is a professional course of three years. B.Sc. (IT) is also an IT course of three years. Hope my answer is helpful to you. Thanks
