To become a successful programmer one needs to know about algorithms, data structure and mathematics. In mathematics you should know the topics like linear algebra, set theories, discrete math, number theory and some calculus. You don't need to be scholar in maths but basic concepts and problem solving skills is must. So start your journey and good luck.

See, if you have strong maths, then it will really help you in coding and making logic, but if you really want to do try with BCA instead of B.Tech.

If you don't have maths in 12th class, that's not a problem. You can still become a good programmer. You can join BCA course to start your programming career. In BCA, you'll be learning some management skills, communication skills, programing and also you'll be taught maths. So, that's not a big problem. You can also choose B.Sc. (IT) course. BCA is a professional course of three years. B.Sc. (IT) is also an IT course of three years. Hope my answer is helpful to you. Thanks
    regards

One needs to have a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and mathematics to become a great programmer. You should be familiar with areas in mathematics including linear Algebra set theories, discrete mathematics, number theory, and a little calculus. You don't have to be an expert in math, but you do need to know certain fundamentals and be able to solve problems. So get going, and best of luck.

Maths help you to develop logic in programming, but up to some extent coding is not everything. You can do lot more practice and patience to be a good programmer.
