I had qualified for JEE Advanced last year but did not take admission. Do I need to do fresh registration this year?

Yes, definitely. Candidates will have to qualify JEE Main cutoff this year to be eligible for JEE Advanced exam. It does not matter if a candidate has qualified JEE Advanced last year or not. To be able to appear for the JEE Advanced exam this year, candidates have to qualify JEE Mains this year and register from the scratch for JEE Advanced exam using their JEE Main application number and other details.
