You just need to check first that whether you come under that rank required for LPU NEST or not, just clearance of LPU NEST doesn't mean that only then you will be getting admission, but if not cleared in case, then also you can get so no worries in that. All the best.

In some courses it's compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and mba, but in courses like ba, B.Com, BBAits not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST

It depends on the rank which you get in the exam rather than the marks. So, better know the cut-off range and decide the branch you want to take.

It totally depends on the rank, which you have got, not the marks. As your rank will decide whether you will get Mechatronics or not. You can wait for the counseling process as there you will be allotted the branch as per your rank.
  • Dear Edwin Siby,
Every student must have to score at least 40-50% to qualify NEST for B.Tech programme. So, now you have qualify the NEST the next step is to participate in an online counselling from 4th May-9th May in which you have to fill your first preference as per your choice then second preference and so on. Result of allocation will be declared by 10th May and accordingly you can proceed with admissions till 16th May.

Your score should be at least 30% of the total score in order to be eligible for taking admission in LPU. You can apply for the mechatronics course in LPU.

Dear candidate, there is no need to worrry if you missed LPUNEST in first phase. The unviersity conducted test  in different phases so you can apply for test again in next phases. You will get two chances to qualify test . If somehow you will not able to appear in first attempt then in second chance you can apply and qualify it by getting maximum scholarship in course fees. The fees and scholarship varies from one course to another.

Thank you .

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

For the purpose of effective preparation, LPU NEST is suggested to spend around 2 to 3 hours a day studying for about 4 to 6 hours before the exam. This would be divided into revision, practicing mock tests, and weaker subject focus. Regular practice of past papers and mock tests helps speed, accuracy, and time management needed on the exam day.

Revision should be given utmost importance before appearing for the LPU NEST exam. It strengthens what has been studied, increases self-confidence, and helps recall important concepts, formulas, and definitions. Constant revision of important topics will help improve speed and accuracy on the examination, thus increasing chances of scholarships and admissions.

In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
