I have scored 58% in 12th PCB, can I apply for agriculture course in LPU?

Dear Pallavi Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent subject to valid score in LPU NEST (Agriculture). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. However there are few relaxations: (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) (10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University) So, if you fall in these categories you can very well apply DVD.

No, you require minimum 60% in your last qualification to take admission for agriculture at LPU.

The general eligibility criteria for B.Scagricultute is 10+2 with 50% of marks, so you can apply. Admission is based on entrance or merit in qualifying exam.

The test syllabus and paper pattern is given on the website also. LPU is the only private university which has been accredited by ICAR. Dear Pallavi, My sister is studying in the B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme at LPU. As far as I know, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class to fulfill the eligibility criteria. However, there is an exemption of 5% marks for the students who belong to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. Also, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU to confirm your seat in the programme. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. Placement: Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more.
