I'm in first year doing B.Tech from IPU, can I apply for lateral entry exam in IPU to get admission in 2nd year directly to good college?

Dear, lateral entry is for Diploma students and not for B.Tech 1st-year students. You can change college but under the same university. -

Lateral entries are for Diploma holders and not for B.Tech 1st year students,so you cannot write the exam. As far as college swapping is concerned you can switch colleges under the same university if you have some legit reasons but the chances are very slim. Please consult to your university.
